The Simsbury Aging and Disability Commission will be sponsoring a forum on services for seniors. The forum will consist of the following: Simsbury Steps to Safety Program A Community Fire and Fall Prevention Program committed to working with Simsbury residents to reduce the occurrence of an injury from home fires and falls. Simsbury Medical Equipment Loan Locker A local source for free used serviceable Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and occasionally donated new equipment. Simsbury Aging and Disability Commission The Commission is responsible for investigating the needs of the elderly and disabled residents and providing assistance to public and private agencies in the implementation of programs and facilities for such needs. Other important topics of interest to seniors may be added to the forum agenda.
Light refreshments will be provided.
