Personal Storytelling Workshop at Eno

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Older people have a lifetime of great stories to share, so why is it sometimes hard to get people to listen? Maybe it’s in the telling.

Join storyteller Terry Wolfisch Cole from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at the Senior Center to learn how to turn your unique experiences into stories that will captivate listeners. (Snow date March 26.)

In this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn personal storytelling tips and tricks that are applicable at a family gathering, as part of a speech or toast, or even onstage. You will have opportunities to discover your stories, select one
to craft for sharing, and practice telling it in front of the group.

Please bring paper and pen.

Terry’s story of running away from home was featured on the Moth Radio Hour on NPR and in Readers Digest. She is the founder of “Tell Me Another”, a storytelling show in the Hartford area.

COST: $4. Please register by Friday, March 13.
