Find out more about the amazing healing powers of certified therapy dogs from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the Simsbury Public Library.
Hear real life stories about the gifts of comfort and inspiration offered by these canine friends. Learn who they are and how they’re trained, and hear many examples of the differences they make in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and even Bradley International Airport.
This program will be presented by three Farmington Valley residents (Karyn Cordner, Sally King and Paula Johnson) and their partners, Raven, James and Deja. The dogs will welcome the audience at a “meet and greet” after the presentation.
