The Connecticut Radio Information System, Inc., will present a program on their radio-reading service for people who are blind or print-challenged, from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at the Senior Center.
CRIS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has been serving people for more than four decades. They operate with a small staff and a large number of volunteers who provide voice talent. Listeners can hear CRIS Radio’s 24/7 broadcasts of more than 70 newspapers and magazines several different ways, including online and on-demand.
CRIS presenters will teach you how to navigate the technologies available to access CRIS radio and provide other resources available to our community.
