The Senior Center and McLean Home Care and Hospice are cosponsoring a Therapy Putty workshop on Thursday, May 9, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
We will create our own therapeutic putty with the essential oil of your choice or no essence at all, and then go through some exercises, with a handout from McLean’s therapy department that highlights ways to strengthen dexterity and keep hands and wrists limber with regular putty use.
It can also be used as a relaxant, especially if it is infused with lavender oil.
